Uniforms

Our Ballet, Tap and Modern uniforms are RAD and ISTD exam regulation uniform.

We understand that uniform can be expensive. If you are not able to purchase all of the uniform, please let us know and we may be able to source some for you second hand.

We have a private Facebook group where parents, carers and students can exchange and sell second-hand uniform.

For all dance styles:

Student's hair should be off of their face. If they have long hair, we recommend for it to be in a secure bun.

Headscarves and religious headpieces are allowed.

Jewellery is not allowed except for ear studs and religious items that can not be removed.

In the colder months, students can wear a regulation cardigan or a jumper to warm up.

Ballet

Pre-School (Baby Ballet), Pre-Primary and Primary:

Short-sleeved pink leotard and pink wrap skirt.
Student's choice of pink ballet tights or socks.
Ballet shoes, satin or canvas - pink with elastics.
Boys - short-sleeved white t-shirt, black shorts, white/black socks and white/black ballet shoes.

Grade 1 & 2:

Sleeveless lavender leotard.
Student's choice of pink ballet tights or socks.
Ballet shoes, satin or canvas - pink with elastics .
Character skirt with ribbons of any colour.
Black character shoes.
Boys - short-sleeved white t-shirt, black shorts, white/black socks and white/black ballet shoes.

Grade 3 & 4:

Sleeveless mulberry leotard.
Pink ballet tights.
Pink ballet shoes with ribbons, satin or canvas.
Character skirt with ribbons of any colour.
Black character shoes.
Boys - short-sleeved white t-shirt, black shorts/tights, white/black socks and black ballet shoes.

Grade 5:

Sleeveless navy,leotard.
Pink ballet tights.
Pink ballet shoes with ribbons, satin or canvas.
Character skirt with ribbons of any colour.
Black character shoes
Boys - short-sleeved white t-shirt, black shorts/tights, white/black socks and black ballet shoes.

Grades 6-8:

Sleeveless navy,leotard.
Pink ballet tights.
Pink ballet shoes with ribbons, satin or canvas.
Character skirt with ribbons of any colour.
Black character shoes.
Long chiffon skirt - navy.
Navy silk scarf.
Boys - short-sleeved white t-shirt, black shorts/tights, black socks and black ballet shoes.

Vocational grades:

Black leotard
Tights in either skin colour or pink.
Ballet shoes with ribbons, in either skin or colour, pink. Satin or canvas.
Soft block ballet shoes in either skin colour or pink.
Pointe shoes in either skin colour or pink.
Boys - short-sleeved white top, black tights, black socks and black ballet shoes.

Tap & Modern Dance

Primary - Grade 3:

Girls - Purple unitard.
Boys - white t-shirt and black shorts.
White socks.
White tap shoes with heel and toe taps.

Grade 4 - Grade 6:

Black leotard with black tights/shorts.
Black socks.
Black tap shoes.
Modern is danced bare foot but students can wear foot-thongs if they wish.

Intermediate - Advanced:

Student's choice of leotard with black tights/shorts.
Black socks.
Black tap shoes.
Modern is danced bare foot but students can wear foot-thongs if they wish.

Jazz Theatre Dance

All levels:

Comfortable sports clothing.
Jazz shoes/ bare feet/ foot thongs.
